MuscleSound backs the U.S. women’s pursuit team for Rio

MuscleSound joins USA Cycling’s Project 2016, a bike and technology collaboration designed to help the 2016 World Champion women’s pursuit team as they head to the Rio de Janeiro Olympics. The Denver-based tech company measures muscle energy (glycogen) and body composition using ultrasound technology in real-time. Working with the USA Cycling team, MuscleSound has provided information on the effect of an intense training and travel schedule on fuel levels and recovery. MuscleSound says this non-invasive method for measuring muscle health can help detect damaged muscles before injury occurs and can provide insights into training optimization so the U.S. squad will arrive in Rio ready to race for gold.
