The above images are examples of muscle quality and muscle mass evaluations taken at Duke University Medical Center (research project) via CT scan (top images) and MuscleSound’s ultrasound analytics software (bottom images). The assessments were performed at the same time on three separate patients. Duke University Medical Center (research project) showed a 98% initial correlation for muscle quality between MuscleSound and gold-standard CT scan.
