The MuscleSound team is excited to welcome Jamie Zynger to the team as Controller. She’s originally from Edmonton, Alberta Canada where she grew up studying ballet and continues to be an avid downhill skier. Moving to Denver was an obvious choice as she loves spending weekends in the mountains skiing or hiking. Recently she’s taken up the sport of road biking on the beautiful trails Denver has to offer.
After studying accounting at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology where she obtained her Bachelors in Business Administration, she successfully completed her CPA (Charted Professional Accountant) in Canada. Her previous experience in Denver includes taking controllership over a subsidiary of a Canadian Oil & Gas company that specialized in power generation from natural gas resources that completed a lot of projects in the US, Canada, Mexico and Colombia. Being in Denver peaked her interest in new technologies, and she quickly became involved in the tech startup world, taking a position with a venture capital firm that specialized in accelerating startups globally.
She’s excited about being the controller for MuscleSound as health and wellness have always been an important aspect of her life. The motto “Work Hard, Play Hard” should apply to your body as well. Putting the work into maintaining optimal health means your body is ready to enjoy all that life brings us, whether that be traveling, sports, family, children or enjoying your favorite downtime.”
